Conference topic: Business Models, Standardization and Technologies for the Connected Life
Overview:
Convergent services and applications are a standard within the ICT sector. These services are now developing from an integration of communications, IT and media into areas like the smart home, smart energy, e-mobility or ambient assisted living forming the Connected Life.
Communication is a major precondition and enabler for the Connected Life. The conference focuses therefore areas within the Connected Life consisting of:
- Business Models
- Digital preservation and lock-in effects
- Interoperability
- Legal compliance and privacy
- Regulation
- Security and trust
- Standardization
- Transparency
A special track will focus cloud computing evolving as a paradigm shifting technology that affects a large part of the IT industry. Reflecting the uncertain and non-transparent environment that surrounds cloud computing, a lack of trust in the new evolving paradigm can be observed. The certification of cloud services by independent certification institutions could cope with the challenging lack of transparency, trust and acceptance. Such adoption uncertainties could be addressed by the submitting authors.
Submissions are welcome from business management or business engineering, computer sciences, economics, or electrical engineering and other sciences related to the Connected Life.
